Dr. Adam Duress is the owner and founder of Durable Chiropractic and Wellness. He completed his chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he graduated as valedictorian of his class.
Dr. Duress originally hails from Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He is the middle child of his family, sandwiched between an older and younger brother, both of whom he is very close with. During his youth, Adam played many sports including football, baseball, soccer, and basketball. With all of this activity came a few injuries, which is what first introduced him to chiropractic at the age of 11. Upon graduating high school, Dr. Duress studied at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he graduated with honors and Magna Cum Laude - earning a degree in Kinesiology, with an accompanying minor in Nutrition.
Dr. Duress is one of very few chiropractors in the greater Columbus area to be full-body certified in Active Release Technique (ART), which is considered to be the gold-standard treatment for soft tissue injuries. Dr. Duress is also trained in DNS, or dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, which is a powerful functional rehab technique founded in the Czech Republic. He also is trained in Dry Needling.
Dr Duress founded Durable Chiropractic and Wellness to redefine Chiropractic in Marysville. We hope for people to see Durable as we do – a one-stop-shop for chiropractic, manual therapy, and rehab. We’re passionate about caring for people and getting to the root of their problems rather than managing the same issues for months/years. We’re thrilled to be serving the Marysville community and are so grateful you’re here.
